Pros: Very laid-back class; big on in-class open discussions about assigned readings
Cons: Leaves a lot of room to get lazy and very easy to miss important due dates because she will not baby you on the syllabus.
PLAN PLAN PLAN AHEAD. at the end of the term she has 3 big projects due (although she mentioned she might change her teaching style next term). 1. Immersion Project that you have most of the term to work on, 2. 14 Ways to Rock - which are essentially 14 small papers due at the end of the year and 3. a portfolio. Very demanding class work load wise but she lets you decide when and how you want to use your time for these projects. Very rewarding and easy A in the end.
